Meet the Cast of Twelfth Night: Ashley
1) Where are you from? How did you end up here (or why did you stay)? I'm from Lake Linden, Michigan. It's a small town just north of Houghton (not to be confused with Houghton Lake!). College brought me all the way down here (it's an eight hour drive), and I'm planning on staying because I've fallen in love with Grand Rapids. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else right now. 2) Where did you study acting? I studied theatre for a few years at Grand Valley, but have since swit

Meet the Cast of Twelfth Night: Megan
This is my second production with Pigeon Creek and I am really excited to be Sir Andrew. I started acting in 2007 with a theatre day camp and have been addicted to it ever since. It doesn’t matter where I go- theatre communities have always felt like a safe space for me. The environment is welcoming, non-judgmental, and open to artistic expression. This feeling of acceptance is a big part of why I love acting and the theatre community in general. I plan to continue acting bec

When Twelfth Night came up as one of the plays this season, I put my all into the audition. I was thrilled to the point of becoming a babbling fool when I was offered the part and my brain was going a million miles an hour thinking of ideas for my characterization. After I settled down and started to think a little more clearly,

Meet the Cast of Twelfth Night: Cassandra
1) Where are you from? How did you end up here (or why did you stay)? I grew up in Utica, Michigan, a small suburb of Detroit, and lived on the east side most of my life. I came to Grand Rapids via England, Sweden, and Baltimore, Maryland, and stayed thanks to the sunset on the river and the wonderful arts community that calls Grand Rapids home. 2) Where did you study acting? I have studied at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University and am currently w
